Vision
Currently, Project Ear operates in a shared space; however our vision for the future includes building our own hospital, better allowing for ongoing care of patients with ear, nose and throat diseases. Having a dedicated facility would provide a space for volunteer otolaryngologists across the United States to donate their time and expertise, improving consistency in patient care. Ultimately, this would open the possibility of founding a fellowship program to train local and international ear surgeons, providing sustainable care in areas where access is currently scarce.
Mission
Project Ear is an ongoing humanitarian effort to help those (particularly the poor and underserved) in developing countries who suffer from hearing loss and ear disease. This is accomplished through medical, surgical, and audiological outreach missions combined with patient education and training of local physicians and medical personnel.
